Courage and Fear

You sit in silence.

You contemplate your desires.

You hear a voice inside you, whispering words of wisdom.

And then, doubts creep in. Your bones start freezing, and you begin to question whether to follow your heart or your mind.

Is this an internal struggle? Is it a fight?

How can you stir yourself up and, in your body, feel the fire burning once again?

It is time to find strength and balance in the beautiful dance between courage and fear. There is a non-dualism between courage and fear — they are not two separate forces, but rather two sides of the same experience. One cannot exist without the other. If a situation weren’t scary, you wouldn’t need to be brave. Without facing our fear, we cannot step into courage.

We often think that courageous people are those who move forward in life because nothing can harm them. But that’s far from the truth. True courage belongs to those who have stood frozen before their fears, yet chose not to let them win. With shaky legs, they pushed through and overcame their limits.

Your true happiness always awaits on the other side of your fears. Courage is your medicine, the secret ingredient that lies deep within everyone’s heart. Start feeling and believing that your heart is, in fact, a brave lion — stronger than you think. You possess a primordial force that can be ignited in your core, to cut through self-doubts, uncertainty and challenging times.

Call the roaring in. Let it move you, soothe you and reassure you.

Your fears can’t seize you.

Let your heart lead the way and your courage free you.
